Combining works on paper, canvas or other substrate, with digital processing and manipulation provide an artist with tools that can exponentially expand our modes of expression.
While my experimental and fine art photographic works almost always have a lens involved somewhere, my mixed media works usually start with pencil sketches, traditional paints, or doodles on paper, then a lens to capture a digital rendering, and many round trips between the computer and the analog studio.
